ISO9001 (International standard for quality management systems)

Domestic

Toyokawa Plant acquired International Standard for Quality Management and Assurance (ISO 9001) certification.

On 1999, Toyokawa Plant (at Toyokawa City, Aichi Prefecture) received ISO9001 certification for automobile window regulator design and production. (Authorized by KPMG Century Registrar Co. Ltd.) From 1998, operating under the slogan, "Complete Practice of Basics and Ensuring Quality," we set up an "ISO Promotion Room" within the plant and began preparations for certification. Upon certification, we established, "creating quality products that satisfy our clients," and, "everyone plays by the rules, everyone ensures quality," as our quality policies.

Osaka Plant acquired International Standard for Quality Management and Assurance (ISO 9001) certification.

On 2000, Osaka Plant (at Ibaraki-City, Osaka) received ISO9001 certification for automobile doorframe design, manufacture, and sale. (Authorized by KPMG Century Registrar Co. Ltd.) From 1999, we set up an "ISO Promotion Room" within the plant and began preparations for certification. Following up on the certification of Toyokawa Plant for window regulators, this certification marked our second domestic production strongpoint.
At Osaka Plant, we decided our quality policies would be, "to bring our customers a stable supply of the superior products they need," and, "to create a workplace where we are all clearly aware of our roles and eradicate quality problems." and so we also bent our efforts toward ISO9001 certification.

In 2007, the Toyokawa Head Office and Nagoya Plant (Toyoda City, Aichi Prefecture) received ISO9001 certification for the design and manufacture of automobile seat adjusters and seat recliners from JIC Quality Assurance Ltd.

Receipt of ISO9001 certification for all locations and products in Japan.

In 2009, all Shiroki factories in Japan (Fujisawa, Toyokawa, Nagoya, Osaka and Kyushu Shiroki) received ISO9001 certification. Previously, Shiroki had received this certification for specific plants and products. Certification covered mainly window regulators at the Toyokawa Plant, doorframes at the Osaka Plant and seat adjusters and recliners at the Nagoya Plant. As a result, ISO9001 certification is currently applicable to the entire product lineup: window regulators, seat adjusters and recliners, doorframes, moldings, door locks and hinges, and seats for commuter trains.
